Shiyeon got injured, that's what happend. Look at episode 83 when she comes out of the car. Hyori also says that she hasn't seen her walk in a long time, and if your talking about Lizzy.. Then I think it's because she didn't get alot of camera time on her lasts episode. Thats what I think about why Lizzy went, because she says she likes camera times
Did she ever do anything?

as others have pointed out, shiyeon got injured - i think - a lot of times which hindered her performing all out in various games in FO. i also agree that drama skill (acting) is not necessarily transportable to variety skill. in the beginning, I think she delivered quite a good and strong character - different to other family members. yea, she could actually response to something in a quite witty yet quirky manner. both she and haejin (in their first episode as family member) have tried to develop interesting characters, which unfortunately were outshone by other family members in later episodes. i don't blame family members entirely for this. but i think the production staffs should've tried harder to give room for these two variety newbies to shine. another important point is shiyeon entered FO later than the rest of the members, and as a replacement of yejin and chunee - both of whom impressed audience and the show itself with their unique characters. so, it becomes inevitable for them being compared to yejin and chun hee (sorry for misspelling). it's also harder for them to fit in with the whole casts as these old family members has already formed a certain bond. and what more, it appears to me that shiyeon and haejin were not the type to initiate something easily. well, it goes back to my previous explanation, that they came later than anyone else. and yeah, most of the time, they disappeared into the background. unluckily again, the show then ended after only around 14 weeks they started filming.
i somehow feel sorry for them, especially seeing the last episode of S1 in which both seemed to acknowledge and regret their lack 'variety skill' in comparison to the others.
but if given the chance, I don't know if both would appear differently.

It also didn't help that they were stepping into some big cast member's shoes. Park Yejin and Lee chunhee were on the show for a while, and they could carve out their niches well. They were also there from the conception of the show. These guys were pounced on from the second they came to the show. I think Haejin also did a great job in trying to create his own character, but it's tough when everyone compares them to their predecessors. I felt really bad for them, because neither were they getting time, nor did they have an opportunity to grow into their characters.
