Korean dramas are generally lacking originality (poor family, rich family, guys fall in love, rich parents disagree) but the quality is a LOT better IMHO
what is IMHO and i dunno bout the quality of taiwan drama cause its rather hard to get to watch show if it is not for internet. if i want to watch, i have to pay for another package. gosh and it is not cheap! other language pack is so expensive than the original language. anyway whatever.(out topic)
as for korean drama i slightly agree with u on the originality part. rich and poor, as for romances, will be 2 girls fighting for 1 guy or 2 guys fighting for 1 girl. erm BUT again. i disagree slighlty on the originality part cause. although the story is always argueing and fighting for 1 person. the plot are often different in the sense that it is beyond expectation and there are twist in the middle. (although the end is predictable- guys and gals live happily ever after)
other than that... it makes u wan to watch more to know wat happened...

well, try watching "my girlfriend is a Gumiho"
it is so nice. although the CG makes it looks SLIGHTLY unreal. but that is not the main focus. the plot is....
have a go. and i often go for shows that the actors and actress plays a very good act. not like the recent drama i watch called "fugitive" played by rain and some other actor. Where he doesn't know how to act
he should stick to singing.
Doesn't know how to act in the sense that, when someone is shooting, he should at least find shelter to avoid it. but nooooo he lie on the ground, for 3 sec, the gal pass him the gun which took 3 more sec,
and he grab the gun and start shooting. whereas the bad guy has a machine gun and THEY were shooting at him. and he din get a scratch
so
to gather the facts,
1) he is in an open space (no defence)
2) he is opened for about 10 sec
3) they were shooting at him for bout 10 sec
4) they all MISSED but when he shoot, all die. (too unrealistic)- if they are so bad at shooting, why were they hired in the first place
5) after all the shooting. he is just sweating. no scratch no nothing. EVEN falling off the bike. =="
so that is just my opinion ahahahah... TOo long edi. must cut down!
