Hi guys! I'm sure some of you have heard of Pottermore, the extended online HP experience that'll include additional info about the books from J.K herself! =D Currently, only 1,000,000 people are allowed into the Beta site to test it out and provide feedback to the developers before they launch it for everyone in Oct.

As of now, there're only around 100,000+ people who've received their Welcome Letters and are in the site =( I'm still waiting for mine, and i'm dyingg to get in hahaha! I got in on Day 3. So to those of you who're still waiting for yours, you're not alone! Seeing as how i'm so looking forward to being in the site, i've already been surfing for snippets of what Pottermore's like =P

For those of you interested, there's currently only Book 1 to go through, and you still have to wait for them to develop all the other books. The coolest things on the site by far has got to be the Sorting Ceremony and Wand Selection (where the wand chooses you! and there're thousands of wand combis) =D After you get sorted you'll be able to earn (or lose) points for your house through duelling with ppl from other houses (which i've heard is still under maintenance) or brewing potions etc. And yes for the Sorting Ceremony/Wand Selection, you'll be asked questions that J.K devised herself in which you should answer truthfully to know your true house; and they're rather vague so you won't be able to link an answer to a specific house that easily.

I'm really psyched!! =D Can't wait to get my Welcome Letter =)

So are there any Potterheads out there?? =) Any one of you already in/ waiting for your Welcome Letter like me/ interested to join in Oct? Or are just interested in HP itself =) And if you're already in, why not introduce your house and how you find the site! =) What do you like about it, and what do you find is lacking?

I've read every Potter book and watched every movie, sorry i'm just such a Potter nerd ^o^

Hahaa for me, i can see myself in any house except for Slytherin, so i'm just waiting for the Sorting to help me confirm where i belong =) Don't you just want to be in Hogwarts hahaha! xD

lol I was so surprised when I saw this up here, but OFC there has to be at least one person who likes Harry Potter AND Running Man :DD

I registered on Day 4! So you'll most likely get in before I do. I've been following a facebook group for it and it seems like at first, the emails were completely random - it didn't matter which day you were on - but now they seem to be following the day-by-day pattern. Which is good, I guess, but I'm hoping I'm in at LEAST before next week (which is when school starts for me). I'm so excited too! I've only seen a few spoilers, not really wanting to spoil the big moments for me too much.

Can't wait to see you there!

YAY for potter nerds and running man lovers! I don't even know how many times i've refreshed my gmail since beta opened.. it's been torture! I signed up on Day 2 and when i found out it was completely random I was so upset, since I had to stay up till like 4am to find the quill.. but now it's going by days again hopefully I can get my welcome letter soon! What houses are you guys hoping for? Honestly I think i'm more Gryffindor, but since Jo Rowling made the quiz up herself, I won't be THAT upset with whatever house i'm sorted into.

And actually, i'm having school now, and it's in fact my exam period *looks around sheepishly* HAHA so i really shouldn't be obsessing over Pottermore! If i get in, i'd probably be too carried away. If i don't, i'd be obsessing over it too much. *shakes head* neither seems like the better option huh.

Hmmm my friends think i'm a Gryffindor. I think i'm either that or a Hufflepuff :O Don't judge! Haha!! I don't think Hufflepuffs should be looked down upon, if you read their House description you'll find out alot more about them than what's in the books I think i'd be able to accept whichever house i'm sorted into without much drama. Hahahaa.

Been waiting for so long.. I want to access Pottermore...! I really can't wait to see what it'll be like!

heyyy i got in on day 3 as well!! and yes i have been checking my hotmail much more often than before but still nth and also on facebook someone posted "horrible at spels.. it was so bad there was this ugly smoke and it melted" and "i lost 5 house pts too" ahhhhh makes me so excited

The parts I am most excited about is the Sorting Hat (ofc) and the wand choosing. Mostly because it's interesting to see what house I'll be in after being such a long-time fan of HP. The cool thing about Pottermore is that for everyone who wishes Hogwarts to be real, well, becomes real - at least via online. I figure I'll either be in Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw, but who knows! I'm secretly hoping to be in Hufflepuff though.

FUN FACT: did you know Hufflepuff in french is called 'Poufsouffle'? :]

Okay when we all get in we should add each other! Same here audriffic, I just started school again and it's been so stressful! Definitely not as bad as having finals, though. And I don't hate on the Puffs! They're hardworking and loyal I'm not very hardworking... if we're being honest i'm a total procrastinator hahah. And actually today I realized it's preferable to be sorted into any other house besides Gryffindor. All seven books were written from a Gryffindor's perspective, so during Pottermore we won't have as much new information. But if we're in Ravenclaw or something we'd be able to learn more about that house than we would've in the books. So now i'm hoping for my second choice, Ravenclaw! hahaha. Although I honestly think I lean more towards being a Gryffindor. Anyway we should all update each other if we get our welcome letters! I hope we all get in soon! The wait is killing meeee.
