If anybody's interested, LeeSSang was on MC Yoo's Come to play in 2009 with The Movement Crew (Tiger JK, Bizzy, Epik High, Dynamic Duo). Gary had a fair amount of screen time so I just wanted to share this .

You'll learn a fair amount of Gary's background and personalities from this. It seems like the Crew finds him the funniest among their members. It's a good video to see what they've been through not just LeeSSang but as a whole Movement group.

Can you believe it? He's 8th degree in martial arts, 10 years of boxing...I wonder if he can take on Kim Jong Kook if he wanted to.

yeah.. the movement crew said he's the best fighter among korean hip hop members. I think what he had shown in RM isn't completely real of him. He just playing around, enjoying the show & being funny without trying hard

Is the CTP ep not on dailymotion? I can't seem to find it

Yes, I remember that show. Especially the fact that he expressed an interest in doing variety, as Gil had by then become more well known through those kind of programs. I always thought that maybe Yoo jae suk remembered what Gary said and was sufficiently impressed to bring him on to RM the following year in 2010, as I believe Yoo jae suk has some say in those matters. I obviously don't know about the inner workings, but that could be a possible scenario. Anyway, Gary got his chance and showed what he can bring to the table entertaining wise, besides his talents as an artist.

I was thinking the exact same thing while watching it. Plus Yoo Jae Suk already knew Gil at that point so him having some say in casting Gary is a possibility.
This is off topic but I wonder if the Running Man cast and staff ever thought about putting on a concert....it'd fun and crazy. We can have some hiphop, some turbo goodness, some band stuff like in Nichkhun & Taecyeon ep with the staff, some MC Yoo rapping, maybe JiHyo sing in LeeSSang song (haha), KJK and the kids special....it would be endless fun.

yeah..he can definitely take on KJK if he really was like in battle mode...his degree in martial arts and those 10years of boxing is a force to be reckoned with ...even lets say KJK is a big guy it doesn't mean he can't fall..

and if you look at his face..he is like a harmless guy that knows nothing about the world..who would have thought that this guy have defeated Gil over and over again in actual fights.

Simple reference in Running Man..ep.6 his reflex when GwangSoo try to catch him..ep.19 he looks really annoyed with Jong Kook during the ingredient picking at second mission..ep.23 i think he refused to do the boxing thingy with Jihyo instead gave to HaHa with Jihyo..he never fight back during hide and seek...
