In Running Man and other variety shows, Haha is often teased for his modest height. I have to admit that he does look short when he's by himself but when he's standing next to other casts, there's really not a big different in their height... I did a little research and he stood around 1m75-1m78 (5'9-5'10)... c'mon, that's pretty high, and it's normal compare to other Korean male celebs. So what's up with people call him short? XD

Well, that particular pic is 'shopped (at the very least to omit Joongki, but I believe the image itself was originally constructed by shooting the members in small groups and pasting them together), so I wouldn't say that was a good gauge of his height. The heights posted for him on different websites tend to vary, but 175cm seems way too generous, especially considering the arguments in Episode 29 when they were creating their profiles. He *is* the shortest member of the men in RM, though only Gwang Soo really dwarfs him. Considering Gary "compromised" with his own Ep. 29 profile height of 172.9cm (which meant that figure is higher than it probably really is), and HaHa is clearly shorter than him by a couple of centimeters, I think that puts HaHa's height more realistically at 169 cm, about 5'6". Not bad in real life, but around leading actors and model-grade idols, he'd definitely look smaller. In a world where lens-less glasses and height-enhancing insoles are openly acknowledged accessories, things are never certain.

Agree with Mike's take on this. You know how Korean idols always lied about their height and weight on official profiles, I think all Korean celebrities are the same as well. Usually guys about their height and girls about their weight.

Super Junior members said that when you read someone's profile, subtract at least 2cm from their height to get the real number, and that is just "at least", LOL!

Back to HaHa, I think he has only a couple centimeters over JiHyo. And JiHyo is like 167cm to 168cm, so I would say that HaHa definitely can't pass over 171cm at the most.

Gary is not that tall either, but I think HaHa is teased about his height more because between the two, HaHa definitely has the shorter legs and he's kinda stubby, which really doesn't help his situation

LOL... he called short because the other members of RM are taller than him
and i think that height 1m75-1m78 (5'9-5'10) is not the real height... sometimes people measure their height while use shoes too so their height is added with the height of the soles..

Hahaha thank you guys! That cleared up some of my questions. I forgot about the sole height enhancer thing, they're pretty popular in Korea right now XD Anyway, I'm just a littleeee disappointed that he's not as tall like his most of his profile claims but tall or short, he is still HaHa, the amazing multi-talent man that I adore XD

From what I've heard, HaHa is about 5"7 or 5"8. I mean... he isn't "small" as such. He's maybe a slight bit below average.

Although I suppose anyone stood next to Gwang So will look small in comparison. Unless you're in the NBA or something :P lol.

In ep 49, JiHyo said her height 167cm but she's a bit shorter than HaHa so I think her real one probably less than 165cm. hehe.

I wouldn't put it past his IC castmates to exaggerate on the other end to be funny, though, so I'd tend to believe that the number is between what they and HaHa claim.

Like someone mentioned, female celebs tend to be less insecure about their true height (unless they're known for being on the short side, like Sunny), so Ji Hyo's claim of 167cm may be trustworthy (her online profiles say 168cm, so there was a little bit of "enhancement" there), and HaHa's would be slightly taller than that.

Act I don't see Ji Hyo really 'that' tall. She has a small build like Song Hye Gyo, Ha Ji Won..which..err their legs are not so long. For asian girl, 170cm above is considered tall and you can be a runway model. Looking her physique she's way far from it. I guess she's only 164/165cm.

hey guys, i was re-watching the episode of Running Man hunting and I noticed that at one point, Haha, Jihyo and Gwangsoo was standing close by a height meter (the one they usually have in a theme park, with minimum height of 145 cm to enter the game, etc)
