On December 3rd, Lee Hyori wrote a message on her Twitter that seemed to address the comments made by netizens about her relationship.

Hyori tweeted, “We are all insects under the sky…. People that are a little better looking, people that are a little uglier, people who have it better, some people who have it worse… what meaning does this all have?”

Her message seems to be directed towards all the negative comments made by netizens, ever since it was revealed that she’s been dating singer-songwriter Lee Sang Soon (38) for the past 5 months. Netizens have been voicing their opinions on Lee Sang Soon’s looks, and wondered aloud about what kind of charms he possessed to capture Hyori’s heart.

*smh* I think it's just ridiculous the way fans react to the people who are their idols or inspirations.

At the end of the day, both are just human beings. I know since they're celebrities, image and appearance means a lot. So sometimes it's best just to keep these things quiet. But they should have the right to date whoever they want to date without harassment or judgements being made on them.
I think Lee Hyori is a beaut' and the dude is a lucky guy. I hope they're happy together and enjoy the time they spend together without letting silly comments ruin it for them

(kinda off topic, but yeah...) so basically, it's all started with this awesome song titled "Doremifasolatido" i stumbled upon by mere accident (because i was suddenly want to look for "Doremifasolatido" movie soundtrack). and wow, the song is cool and i love the singer! so i looked up this singer named Jo Won-sun's profile and found out that she's also in a band named Roller Coaster. and then i listened to this band's work and God. I. LOVE. THEM!

so yeah, there i found out that Lee Sang-soon is roller coaster's guitarist. after some days questioning who is Hyori's hubby, why did she fell for him, etc... i finally "accept" him (lol) as he (or his band) has a great musicianship. i was trying to find more articles about him (that's written in English of course), but i only managed to find loads of article about him being Hyori's boyfriend.

okay, this is being very off topic, haha.

my point is, i wish people can stop judging someone by mere physical appearance. and i hope those netizens who complaining about Lee Sang-soon's look can start listening to Roller Coaster's music~ kke
