I don't see any one with a reliable source regarding this yet, so I would suggest waiting a little longer for the news to come out about it.
A lot of the sources sent me here. But I don't see anything about it.

I really think the current format would actually benefit from an extra female presence, especially when they are split off into three teams and it seems that a lot of the time you are left with an all male team when there is a single female guest, which seems to throw off a little bit of the balance at times. I also think that working in groups of 3 would benefit Lizzy a lot more than the ensemble moments did that were so heavily the focus during initial tenure with the cast, in groups of 3-4 it's a lot easier to be yourself and have to mesh well with only a few people at a time, then when you're constantly against a cast that was already molding together and brought along a lot more experience. I don't really think Lizzy even had a lot of time Jae Suk (except for episode 19, in which she did kind of stick out a bit more than usual during the cooking game) to help develop her variety persona, which hopefully this time around, he can work his magic on breaking Lizzy out of her seemingly one-dimensional image.
I always felt kind of bad for Lizzy, because being a teenage girl somewhat fresh off your debut, and thrown into a variety situation with nobody really all that similar to her in terms of age had to be tough. I am all for second chances, and would love to see how the last year and a half (which is about 75% more time than she had when she joined Running Man in the entertainment industry) has taught her about being an entertainer. I think there's a lot more to her than just bubbly aegyo and a constant smile, and if these rumors do turn out factual, it would be fun to see additional sides to Lizzy.
If this is true, I'm happy for Lizzy, and am glad that there might finally be some more group possibilities that break the usual pairings which could use a little bit more shaking up from time to time. Not to mention, that this would probably be some sort of record for the longest any female has ever taken an extended absence from a variety show regular, to return as a cast member in my recollection.

Honestly, I would be very, very, very surprised if Lizzy comes back as a permanent member.

Also it'll be easier to eliminate Song Ji Hyo if possible.. since they always hesitate cause she's a girl. Not saying Lizzy can always do it, but it makes the men's job easier LOL!
I hope its true~ Will wait for confirmation.
